Please note that you have to be flexible as we might change the destination if the weather is not bringing enough snow in our area.
Plan B, could be Shovelnose Creek or maybe Black Tusk Meadows or even Baker Backountry.

An easy going trip in an area that is very nice for POW and tree skiing!

Think Paul's Ridge with 10x less people: it is a beginner friendly area as well.

I expect to drive in a 4x4 with chains up to 600-700m elevation and from there to follow the logging road for 3.5km to where we start cutting our own trail:)

Please do not signup if you are not able to break trail in rotation as this trip would probably require everyone to spend time in front of the group in knee-deep snow.

Total distance: around 11km
Elevation gain: 800-900m

Required Items to Bring:
MUST have AST1 training
Shovel, probe and avi beacon
Food and TONS of water for the whole day

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $50.00 (calculated at total Km * $0.25, effective Friday, December 14, 2018). This is based on the current provincial government rate for private vehicle use.  Please pay your share of the cost to the carpool driver.

4x4 car with chains required! Please mention if you have one and how many people you can take.
