Winter Social
Special Presentation by: Leigh and Spring McClurgh
Come out and join us for some beers, swap stories and share intel on good powder stashes you've found in the backcountry this winter. For our first social of the year we have two guests who are well known bloggers in our community, Leigh and Spring McClurgh of Pebbleshoo. They will be sharing stories of their adventures within Western Canada, and their thoughts on the impacts of social media and mountain sports.

Jim Haberl Hut Levels Up
Hear details on the ski opportunities offered at the Jim Haberl Hut this winter. We have installed a new Wood Burning stove at the hut and it is now a premier ski touring and winter mountaineering destination in the region. The perk of membership is that we have blacked out certain dates exclusively for club trips! Hear details about this at the social.

Mystery Mountain Project
In 2016 6 climbers set out to celebrate the centennial of the first ascent of Bugaboo Spire by Conrad Kain. Their next project is to climb Mystery Mountain in the Waddington Range in the same style. They are seeking two climbers from our section to join them on this trip. Hear details about this opportunity at the social.
Stay after the presentation to share stories with your fellow club members and even find partners for your next exciting upcoming trip!
