Here is a trip report from bcmc: Joffre-Horseshoe-Traverse-2018

This is a trip for intermediate and advanced BC skiers only. We won't do any crazy chutes but you should be able to ski black runs under any type of conditions. Winter camping experience and willingness to carry shared equipment(rope) is a must.

If the weather cooperates this will be a 3 day trip with nice side trips, otherwise we can exit earlier.

Day 1: Park and skin up to the col between Cassiope and Saxifrage. Leave the packs and ski down Cassiope. Skin back up the col and ski down to White Lakes (camp). Head back up Saxifrage and descend the east slope White Lakes for camping.
Day 2: Break camp and head up to the col between Oleg and Olds. Leave the packs and Ski Oleg, skin back to the col and ski down to the bottom of Olds, setting up camp on the Place Glacier.
Day 3: Pack up and ascend the shoulder of Cirque Peak, and head back to Duffy Lake Road.
