Itinerary:

Update Jan 19th. Trip destination changed to Thar.

This trip is for intermediate or better ski tourers or splitboarders. This means multiple days of touring and proficiency with gear and skinning. Exceptions can be made for some beginners that have been on my beginner-friendly trips.

Be prepared to exit by headlamp.

The preferred destination is Outram with the intent of skiing the SW face.

If the weather is poor then the secondary location is Silverdaisy, which is at a lower elevation, with the intent of skiing the SE bowl.

All participants are expected to have adequate fitness for a long day of touring with few breaks and strong technical ski skills to ski black runs.

Please describe your touring experience, skiing ability, avi training, general fitness, and if you have a winter-ready vehicle and can drive.

This trip will be canceled or re-scheduled at the leaders discretion if the avi risk is too high or the weather is poor.


Required Items to Bring:
Skis or splitboard, skins, avi gear, headlamp, food, water, extra clothes.

Chocolate for the leader.

Staying in Hope for dinner is a high possibility.
