Itinerary:
Please read the entire description before signing up.

This trip is for intermediate or better ski tourers or splitboarders. This means multiple days of touring and proficiency with gear and skinning. Exceptions can be made for some beginners that have been on my beginner-friendly trips.

This trip is rated difficult for the technical skinning during the access, the steep decent of Saxifrage (which is optional), and the location which is an ice box in February.

The preferred area is the Cassiope/ Saxifrage basin where we will be camping. If conditions are good we will kick steps up and ride the 40 degree East face of Saxifrage.

All participants are expected to have adequate fitness for 3 days of touring and strong technical ski skills to ski double black runs. Prior winter camping experience is an asset.

Please describe your touring experience, skiing ability, avi training, general fitness, and if you have a winter-ready vehicle and can drive.

This trip will be canceled or re-scheduled at the leaders discretion if the avi risk is too high or the weather is poor.
