Ideally we will have skied together at least once to be considered for this trip. I will not expand this trip past 6 people.

Based out of the Himmelsbach Hut, the objective of this trip is to ski some of the steeper lines in the area. The main objective is the North Face Fitzsimmons. Other objectives may include Fissile, the shorter lines around Overlord, and Cheakamus Peak.

All participants are expected to have:

1) AST1 equivalent or better;

2) Prior touring experience (this trip is not for beginners);

3) Adequate fitness for 4 days of touring;

4) Strong technical ski ability to 45 to 50 degree slopes; and

5) Crevasse rescue training.

This trip requires excellent conditions and will be cancelled if conditions are not favourable.
