Mentoring Program 2019 participants only. Training - steep snow travel, self arrest, possibly crevasse rescue. For interested participants, pre-event mentoring on route planning, with navigation, compass and route finding during event. If conditions are ideal, we will tag all summits of Seymour, and Runner Peak. Event dependent on reasonable weather and avalanche forecasts, duration may be shortened if inclement weather experienced. Preferably we will have a balance of Mentors and Mentees, but one or two extra Mentees would be fine. Best if you attend with your partner.

Required Items to Bring:
Ice Ax, Harness, Helmet, *Crampons* (Crampons must be properly fitted before the event, contact your Mentor for assistance if needed)

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $6.25 (calculated at total Km * $0.25, effective Tuesday, June 18, 2019). This is based on the current provincial government rate for private vehicle use.  Please pay your share of the cost to the carpool driver.

Neil and Pawel will be leading several group Mentoring trips this season, this event will be an outdoor meet & greet kickoff.
