Itinerary:
Practice crevasse rescue techniques. Passing protection. Self rescue using prussic loops. Assisted rescue using various pulley systems with emphasis on the 3:1, Z system. Required Items to Bring:
Harness, 4 length of chord, the softer the better,6mm in diameter. Two 1.5m (for personal prusics)one 2m and the other 5m in length, or your favorite prussic arrangement, 3 locking carabineers one of which should be pear shaped.
Recommended Items to Bring:

A pulley if you have one. We will talk about the best pulleys.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:The climbing wall is in SE16 building. This is the same building as the BCIT gym.There is a map of the BCIT campus on the BCIT website.

Notes:
Traffic is notoriously busy around BCIT at this time of night so give youself some extra time to get there. We do have to be out of the climbing wall by 8:45pm at the latest.Lights out, literary at 9:00pm
- We encourage all members to follow our Etiquette Guidelines at all times while participating in ACC VA events.

Non-Member Cost:$5.00/Person
Cost Includes:Use of the BCIT climbing wall.
